Hayden Stewart has spent a meaningful amount of time in pretty much every corner of the wine trade, from production and distribution to education and Sommelier/F&B services. It’s given him a broad view of the business, and consequently, a fairly complicated love/hate relationship with it.

It’s a career far detached from his Emergency Management major, but despite the irrelevant degrees, his fascination with wine has led him to obtain his WSET 3 certification, speak at SommCon, and receive grants from The American Institute of Wine and Food to fund his writing.

His aim, whatever hat he is wearing, is to uphold the integrity of fine wine while having a bit of fun at its expense, preferably with a healthy dose of humour, whether the situation calls for it or not.
