Dariusz Galasiński is a linguist and professor at the University of Wroclaw in Poland. He has done research on linguistic aspects of issues traditionally of interest to psychology. He has published nine books on such issues as boasting, deception, and on depression, mental illness and suicide.
Ever since encountering Chablis in the US consulate in Krakow in 1989, he has been a wine lover. As he tries to combine his academic interests with his wine passion, he is currently working on a book on how people communicate about wine.
