Oregon 2014 Special Report
Christy Canterbury MW introduces her Oregon Special Report:
“Oregon wine country strikes a chord with me. It feels familiar. It feels comfortable. No question my fervent love for chiseled Pinot Noir, elegant sparkling wine and ageworthy Riesling plays a part, but Oregon also reminds me of my Texan childhood.
The genuinely friendly smiles, the dusty pick-up trucks (with gun racks and permitcontrolled, concealed handguns no less), the country and Christian music permeating the FM radio band and the fervent love of camping all give Oregon wine country backroads grit. This sure ain’t Napa.”
